The Day After

Since getting 99 Agility I have resumed my "normal life," whatever that means. I'm slightly unsure what to do at the moment (at least I'm not at an utter loss LOL)... I suppose I should cook but I don't wanna! So, to ease back into a little RS normalcy I went farming!

I was greeted with flowers surrounding most of the herb patches, courtesy of the sitting guy here named Scissor. :-) As I made my way to Cammy I spotted this colorful guy:

I like the way that Overlap1 has combined bright blue with the crimson of the HAM shirt and then a farming/nature ammy. So cute! I then decided to collect from my kingdom so that I could get the logs for the firemaking/fletch stones. I was really hoping for some good seeds as lately I've not gotten much luck. I told Canting to wish me luck for a mage seed. I knew it would be good when I got a papayaya seed on my 2nd nest. The luck continued and finally a greenish seed popped out of a nest.

I was a little excited! :P

I ended up getting an amazing haul of seeds! I didn't even get a spirit seed this time! Yay! I have 10 in the bank and 1 in the ground now... Ugh... Anyways, here are the seeds that I kept that I got from nests. I love getting stuff for free!

Because of this I now have enough trees for a full tree run. One mage (in Gnome) and 4 yews are now waiting to be tagged during double xp. Woohoo!! Plus, with all these calquats lately I'll be able to tag several before the one I use for bonus! And I got a papayaya ready too! :P I wish I could get some palm seeds now... I haven't gotten one in forever!

After that I did some more farm runs mixed in with some real life stuff and soon I was in the GE lighting fires in search of the stones. I finally goth both and I ended up being like 12k from 81 FM. I went off for an evil tree and found one as a sapling which happened to be a yew! Woot! Tht got me down to about 4k upon which I promptly forgot and farmed some more. :P

Many events later Fred Lay told me of an evil mage in his world that had only a handful of people on it. I grabbed the necessary evil tree tools and after a couple fires had my lovely level:

Right after that I decided to do my clue scroll. I got my most hated clue, panic naked in the woods. Surprisingly, this is the 2nd time I've ever had this clue so I'm a bit "clueless" as to where it is. :P Fred Lay volunteered to go with me and I was able to do it with no worries. Thanks a ton! It was a pretty short string of clues that took me to West Ardy, the Sawmill, Bandit Camp, and finally to the banana plantation where I was reminded why I keep a diamond ring in the bank. I even looked at that ring today and was glad I still had it! I got some black chaps, 2 mage shorts, a rune full, and some lobbies and sharks. Not bad!

I then needed something to do so I decided to cut some ivy as I was close to 83 WC. My friend Dalton was on and I invited him to see my new cape so he came on over and cut ivy with me. The people there were nice and one commented right away on my aweosme cape. After sharing our 99 goals we found out we have the same birthday. Hehe :P And we both plan to get a 99 on said birthday. He's going for wc and I am going for cook. When Dalton arrived I quickly noticed his awesome combat level is 136.

Wow!! I met him when he was a lvl 3 who was happy at getting 16 Fishing. Now he has like 8 skillcapes (most combat) and like 200m in cash! He's very good at pking and is going for 99 herblore right now. And yes his RS character is a girl. :P Above is us and on the left a gal named Swans31 who was also nice to talk to. Dalton wore his defence cape for me! :D

Before long I got my other level, bringing my total level to 1998:

Wewt! It's not long now before I will have 2000 total level! I have a feeling it's gonna be one of my combat stats that will push it over that mark. :D

Not a conversation but when I hopped for the mage tree the game lagged and my name showed up as "null." I really wonder if Aleph Null or Aleph Naught are available as account names. Only a math geek would get it :P

This Post Contains Win

My alarm went off at 6 this morning. I couldn't wait, because I totally couldn't sleep at all last night! All I could think about was getting 99 agility and trimming my cape and making my "cake" and everything!!

I logged in at about 6:15 and killed time by cooking monkfish on fires that people were lighting in the GE. I managed to get both stones (woot!) and all but about 80 of the 500 monks cooked before I decided it was time to hit up Brim!


With growing excitement I plopped down in front of the ladder watching people accumulate. As the time drew closer I told everyone to go down and then did the ropeswing about 20 times to bring my 641 xp closer and closer to 1. When I was too low to swing without leveling I walked the plank and ended up 5 xp away:
There I sat for about 15 minutes, waiting for people to get here! Since I had it planned for 7am on a Saturday all the Americans set their clocks for 6:55 and then got up. LOL! Finally everyone was there so I told them to do the zombie dance when ready, in honor of Kitty Molly who was not able to attend in pixel but was thinking of me and was there in spirit. She told me to throw in a Thriller dance for her so I surely did!

The time was now!

With shaking hands I started Hypercam and clicked the plank; in essence, "walking the plank" for 99 agility. The fireworks erupted, my Defence cape trimmed, and I screamed with joy. I then looked up.

I could not believe my eyes at the barrage of comments! This was huge!! This was a big deal! I had no idea I'd get that much support!! There were probably close to 30 of my good friends there! I have never felt so loved! Thank you to all who were there to show support!! I had people there I haven't seen in years and even some people that I just met a day or two earlier came by to cheer as well!

I was spam traded and given lots of presents, including a fruit bat, fruit blast, and a ton of agility potions. Thanks everyone! :D I then climbed the ladder and went to purchase my cape. As soon as I bought it some triumphant game music went off which made me feel on top of the world! I quickly put it on and began spamming the emote that has become my absolute favorite. I finally remembered to open the skill guide and take a picture of this incredible achievement:

Huah!! I feel so pro!! I'm a real elf now with my defence and agility!

After the crowd died down those who were able went to play Trouble Brewing with me, which is a tradition of mine. I did it when I got 99 Defence and will get 99 cooking as I play when that time comes. I finally was able to take this epic shot of my very own Cape-With-A-Guy-On-It!

It was a very fun couple of games and I taught Twi how to play and he picked up fast! After that I set off to make my 99 "cake" and to finish my video. First I took a pic of my stats as they were at 99 Agility:

I then spent some time making the "cake" (OK it was less of a fruit salad and more like a fruit sculpture but hey it was pretty epic!), which turned out pretty sweet (lol pun)! It was eaten shortly after that. :PThe finished product! Check out the little avatar in the center made out of gumdrops. She even has flippers and an agility cape! BTW my shirt says "Lesko Diamond Approves."

Last Hours of Untrimmed Cape... :D

As I go to sleep this night I rest my head on the doggy pillow my boyfriend got me years ago knowing that when I wake up my Defence cape will trim white and I will have a brand new Cape-With-A-Guy-On-It added to my collection! I'll miss the cuteness of my untrimmed Defence cape but it's been almost 6 months since I got it and it's finally, FINALLY time for an upgrade! I really did it! Agility will be my 2nd 99! I will have trimmed my Defence cape with Agility!! I go to bed with 641 xp until the big 99 and 1996 total level! Excitement is mounting! I hope I'll be able to sleep! The party is verrrry early at 7am my time because I want my daddy to see and he will be gone all day. I'm walking the plank for it in Brim and throwing a party afterward at my favorite place ever, Trouble Brewing! Can't wait!!!!

I broke 13m xp today and casually trained a bit at gnome to accompany Twi as he tried for the agility stones. I then went smiffin in Edgy and did part of a farm run including planting my yews for the double xp weekend coming up as well as a calquat and papayaya and got 4 calquat kegs of chef's delight ready for piebake time! I then hung out in the GE until I felt like going to bed.

End in Sight!!

Today I ran... and ran... and ran a little more! In what seemed like a few minutes, I had gone from 140k to 90k. Woot!! I'm entering the stage where I am getting very close to that level and where I am paranoid about doing some shortcut or some skill and accidentally leveling to 99 before I get to Brim... Hehe :P

There it is... Less than 100k to go! I took this opportunity to take a little break from agility and decided to charge up my DFS. I just realized I never had a pic of it on, just the small vid, so I took a pic!

I look so pro!! I decided to charge it at the blues in Taverly. I couldn't go to the metals in the clubhouse because my task is fire giants and I didn't feel like running to brim. My cousin decided to go with me to kill the baby dragons, as he is working his stats up to 60. The animation for charging is so cool!! Especially in flippers :P

I easily killed 10 blues before running out of food (brought 3 monks) and inventory space but had 22/50 charge so I went back and killed a couple more blues before taking advantage of the 82 agility shortcut that last time I was here was just a dream and going for the black dragons which were sure to breathe more fire on me. I just turned on pro melee and managed to kill 2 completely before it ran out. Woohoo, I just managed to charge it all up!

I then went with Merxese to the duel arena to give it a whirl. It was great! I got to use my DFS spec for the first time as well, which is one of my favorite sounds in the game! :D I killed him twice and then he killed me twice before I left to try for the thieving stones. About a half hour of picking seeds later and I got my two so I was off to Varrock! I got about 5k xp from the stones and then went to the GE to drop the seeds I didn't want. My hope is that someone will see them and pick what they want out of it. I saw some interesting names there:

First a silly pun, with my seed pile that I surrounded with fires behind him. He's below the guy with the HP cape in the mining cape. Someone even used my fires to cook! How cute! I then spotted this guy:

He had a summoning cape on. OK, why would I take a pic of someone with a summon cape? I mean, it's more common than RC now!

Whoa!! HELLO!!! His name was Call Frank and he was level 50! I did about 5 takes to make sure I wasn't mistaken. Upon looking at hiscores, I found he does indeed have 99 summoning along with cooking, fletching, and... Herblore!! Wow that's awesome!!

I then returned to the course for a bit before heading off to work more on my 99 video. My CD came today!! With it in hand I was able to start the slideshow and got it mostly done! It's pretty awesome and very simple and all that's left now is the part where I get 99 agility! :D I came back briefly to run some more before heading off to bed. It'll be an early wake up call on Saturday so I wanna sleep in tomorrow. :-)

Next one from Levi and Air Stallion (Happy Rant). I guess Levi gave him 100k and so he was trying to pay it back. Levi declined, telling him to give 10k to 10 n00bs. His comeback was priceless. LOL!

Oh and remember how I met foiling that one day in w46 and found myself next to him in hiscores? Well he was on 84 today! I'm so happy we met up again! We added each other and I even got him into Canting for a bit which I think he really enjoyed. He's gonna get 99 agility on Saturday as well! We thought about a double party but he's on the west coast so it would be 6am for him so he decided on 4pm for his. If all works out it should be a fun day all around! :D It will be his first cape too!

So Many Updates!!

Wow what a day!! I ran for a bit before school knocking off over 100k xp. I went to trombone choir and as I did not have band today I was soon back home and on my way. Then I saw all the updates. Holy crap!!

OK where do I even begin... I'll start with the big one... HP... It's not called hp anymore. It's called Constitution. I don't like this because it looks just like Construction. I have a photographic memory and often read just the ends of words so this is bound to confuse me. I was initially freaked out by the tenfold increase in HP (excuse me... *Life Points*) but soon got used to it and not it's not so bad, just weird.

There was an iron update that allows freeplayers to have a bit more success smelting iron. Since they can't wear a forging ring this is a nice little update for them. :-)

Oh and there's a new thing called the lobby. It's a little confusing but I'll soon forget the old ways. It's pretty nifty really. I can "log out" and go make food and come back with little annoyance.

Now for the big one, the one that I was all over! Shattered Heart. Oh man how awesome is this!! Basically when you skill, you get these "rocks" in your inventory. Once you have 2 you talk to some people in the Varrock Museum and assemble the stones into a statue, netting some hefty xp in the skill you got them from at the same time. Well, I of course did agil first and after re-reading and having someone tell me this, Barb was somehow, intentionally or not, left off the list. So, I headed for brim to give myself a jump start on my pirate hook! :D

Agility seems to be one of the hardest to get the stones in. I heard Gnome was faster and was going to go but then boom I got my 2nd stone. It took over 40 tickets (so about an hour) worth of obstacles to finally get the first stone. The game "klunked" at me and there it was! Yay!! I was going to go to Gnome after I got 100 and on my 99th ticket I got it. LOL! I met some great people there and ODST Isaac and Peeky even came along for some fun. Here's the picture of the list and the xp I got by putting the stones in the statue:

Next on the list was fishing. I heard it was somewhat bugged in the fact that people were getting loads. I figured it would be fixed by now so I headed for Piscatoris. No sooner did my net hit the water that *klunk, klunk* I had gotten both stones in 2 fish! Well ok then! I put those in and got some much appreciated fishy xp. I then set off for farming. I got one almost at the end of my run off an Ardy allotment and would have to wait until my new crops grew for the 2nd.

Amidst my farm run I watched somisareg get 99 attack which was, unknown to me, his first 99!!

Gratz Somi!!!! Hehe you can see the new tenfold hits here. What was normally a 10 has turned into a 106! Also there were Vandyballer and Dr Leviathan. It was so fun to see!

At the tail end of my farm run I rubbed shoulders with Kingduffy. He's ranked 7th overall. We farmed side by side not saying a word. I got a pic just because everyone should have an obligatory pic of someone "famous," according to some.

Dood, he has 99 agility!! lol

Anyways I was then off to get the construction stones. All I had to do was basically sit in my throne and wait for them to show up at my entrance portal. After about 5 minutes I had them both!


After that adventure I went to the ivy behind Yanille and read some blogs and before long had the 2 woodcutting stones and about 50k xp! I was on a roll! I then did a farm run and got the other stone while digging up onions in Pt Phaz. Sweet! Next up was mining. Peeky said he was getting nothing from the iron at Piscatoris so I decided to hit up the addy at Kelda. I got my first stone before I had even gotten the first addy ore! In fact it took another couple minutes to mine the rock! I continued mining the addy, leaving a trail of destruction (empty rocks):

I got the 2nd stone on the last addy rock! These stones were pretty! :P

I then mined all the gold and got outta there! I had noticed an evil tree was less than 15 minutes away and upon arriving in Shilo I joked that a star would be there. Well, upon looking up I saw no star but I sure saw an evil basic tree just outside the fence! Woohoo! I did it and am now 80k to 81 FM and 83 WC. Woot!

I then sold some stuff, turned in the mining stones, and headed back to barb until I got so tired I couldn't focus my eyes. It's bedtime!

Feb Hiscores 2 Days Late

I've picked up this tradition from other bloggers and I like it. :-) It's two days late but I haven't gained any levels so it's k...

Pretty awesome! Among other things I have gotten 1m xp in all my skills and have 1995 total. :D I ended today by breaking the under 500k till mark for agil!! Woohoo!!!

I did take a couple breaks today including a large one to trade my limps for raw sharks and monks with Peekyface. We had a blast and then I made him skill assist me so I could throw some uncooked summer pies together. It's lame, you need the level to add ingredients even though it gives NO xp. I now have about 125 pies ready for pie bake on double xp weekend. Looks like I'll be brewing some chef's delight for that, or getting 95 before the weekend even happens!

Not much else happened except I made it to the GE to sell some things and of course I got a random, like I do every day. It's been a while since I had one and I got Evil Bob'd this time. Standing there was a guy in an agility cape!

I didn't catch his name but I took a pic because in less than a week I'll be in that cape! Woot!

Goal Unexpectedly Met

Whoa! What a day! I did my share of running of course and even ran with W46ATAT for a bit before school. Next time I go there I'll have an agility cape on! :D

I guess I'll cut to the chase with the huge news of the day. Never did I imagine that it would happen this soon. :D Let's back up... So 2 weekends from now is double xp weekend. Everyone's heard about it by now. I plan to cook, seeing as I want 99 cook on my birthday. However, in a panic, EVERY SINGLE SKILL ITEM on the face of Runescape has been bought out. It's crazy! Magic seeds won't buy, herbs are flying off the shelves, people everywhere are scrambling for summoning ingredients and charms, and bars and ore that once lay dormant in the GE are now bought up in an instant! It's crazy!

Well, with this inflation of skilling stuff came something else- the crashing of armour. It seems like everyone is selling their expensive gear at the moment to fund their crazy weekend of skilling. I've been eagerly watching the price of all the really expensive stuff, the stuff I have been hoarding for, drop by the millions. As I was running I heard Boombaye1 exclaim that he accidentally put in his offer for a DFS on minimum and it sold instant. 32m. You can probably guess what happened next.

I was off to the GE faster than ever! I had 28.7m sitting in the bank. All I had to do was find 3m somehow! I grabbed every skill-like item I could and put them up for sale. Logs! Ore! Bars! It got me to 29m. I was so close! All I needed was 32m! I tearfully (ok not really) threw my blessed spirit shield into the GE and of course it wouldn't sell. I frantically looked to see if I had anything of value that would sell instant in the bank. My eyes searched the bank and something caught my eye: my 34k pure essence. I bought 62k a while back for 9m and had long since profited all of it back. It was pure profit now and I knew that with the recent demand for pure essence for all the double xp runecrafters I'd make enough to bridge the gap for the remaining mills. I withdrew all but one and sold them. Instant sale. I now had 34m cash.

My heart began to race! I had enough for a Rawr Shield! A shield with a face!! Possibly my biggest goal of 2010 item-wise!! With shaking hands I got out hypercam, clicked record, and put all of my money in for a DFS:

I wasn't expecting it to buy. I mean, this is spendy stuff! The little bar turned green instantly. I screamed. A DFS was mine!!! I am still in shock over it! Once I got it I promptly threw it in my bank and went back to agility. LOL! Once I get 99 and the mindset wears off I'll go back to my normal rs life and it will be there, its angry face smiling at me as it greets my arm. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!! I did it!!!!!! I can now spend freely again until I make the big save for Bandos!!!!!

I'm just so happy :'D

I quickly returned to the course because real life happened tonight and I had to leave shortly after. There was what I presume to be a couple training together because they were dressed alike and were obviously half talking in a cc and half in public. Starting small talk, I asked their agility levels and the level of the other guys who were there as well on the advanced course. I love this, it's a conversation pretty much entirely in emoticons! :D

Cup 0 Joe, whose name I LOVE, and thief sniper were running the advanced with me and the other two, Opal2211 and Cloud 591 were the couple chatting away doing the regular course. It was fun! In fact I saw Cloud 591 get 50 agility and gave him a big congratz. :-)

I ran until I had to leave for school again. There was a guest trombone player who just retired from the Boston Symphony who came and gave a recital and masterclass with some of my trombone comrades. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed my time there! :-) However upon returning I was incredibly tired so I am gonna go to bed now. Under 800k to go!!
