Saa-freaking-Rael what an amazing update!!!!!!!!!!!! GREEN WHIP???? Wow Jagex you successfully got me to play a minigame I vowed never to play again! And I loved it!!!!!! The minute I heard about this green whip (after school) I was off gathering a group to go to BA faster than anything I can think of at the moment. I was in Canting trying to organize a team while soloing a star with Arwyn at the same time!

Funny story, the star fell and I was still madly dashing for a place. I landed a 1-way ticket to the fairy ring between Uzer and Nardah (slayer ring had one charge left, spent to get to fremmy ring) so I ran like mad to Uzer. Star wasn't there so I ran all the way to Nardah. I actually made it on one tank of run energy! This is why I love agility! Anyways I arrived at the bank with about 12% run to spare and there it was, in all its majesty, untagged. Woohoo!! Free 6k xp!!! It was down for no less than two minutes and on w158 that is absolutely incredible!

Anyways I got a group to go including Peekyface, Ferus, Ashen Verdict, and ODST Isaac. However Ashen logged in the middle of the first wave and Ferus had to leave but I came to the rescue after I PM'd two friend that I know love the game and they were more than happy to play for such a nooby soul as myself! :P Thanks to this bunch and all the volunteers (including Arwyn who would have gone) I got me a green whip and was beyond happy.

Afterwards I ended up at BH to bank in preparation for my Dustie task. People were already showing off their colored whips and I was proud to be among them. It's easy to get... we didn't even make it to the queen and I was way over. I even did a high lvl gamble and got a whopping 2 mog planks. Score! And w6 has been FULL all day! LOL! Anyways there was a guy there named ShsSlayer who I chatted with. Then he randomly traded me and an AGS popped into the loan window!! For three hours!!! Absolutely free!!!!! OMG!!! How could I say no to that!!

I was mildly sad that I couldn't use my green whip for my task of 205 Dusties so I went to Mossies with the AGS. I finally broke down and just did my dustie task with the AGS and man oh man was it a great sword there!! I had good enough armour on that the dusties hardly made a dent on me and I was hitting up to 43 with just regular swings set on slash!

Hawt!! I managed to do my task in just 3 bunyips and only banked once because my 2nd yip ran out and I had to recharge at the obelisk.

When I was doing my task, which I do in the chaos tunnels now, something interesting happened. I looked up and there was a guy with my combat level (119) in an untrimmed attack cape. Awesome!

His name was also quite epic. :-) But wait!! It gets better! I left to get that third yip ready and when I came back there was another guy, in an untrimmed hitpoints cape, ALSO level 119! Amazing!!!

They were both very nice and also thought that three people with the same combat and an untrimmed combat cape was quite awesome. :-)

...So awesome that I got a video just to prove that the three of us were there!

Anyways what a day today! I had school! It was very fun and I enjoyed myself and even did my homework for once! There's been lots of talk about nerfing the torso which I don't really care about seeing as I don't have any desire to get one. Plus, seriously, come on people. It's 4!! Does it really make THAT much of a difference in the grand scheme of things? I guess I have no clue what I'm talking about as I couldn't care less about Str, or items with str bonuses.... I'm just glad all is well in the world of str bonuses now... That would have been obnoxious to listen to in a hurry... Now I want to get that horn all charged up so that agility will go faster. How cool is that!! That means I actually have to learn how to *gasp!* play the game! After finally understanding how the game works it's not quite so bad. I'm still much more comfortable with Trouble Brewing, which is probably on the same scale confusing-wise. Apparently BA is a favorite of several people I know so I'll get lots of help and advice, especially from Merchy's guides. :-)

All is well and a little bit greener in Pie's world :-) This green whip will be one item I will treasure always. Oh, and I'm 7k form 83 Slayer and about 38k from 83 Strength. LOL! I love Godswords (sometimes)!!!

Soulwars Fun

I'm definitely ready to go back to school... I am getting sick of playing RS all day long for now... LOL! I want so badly to do the new quest but I want to have all the stuff stocked first so I can just keep doing back in when I die. I have enough brews and restores for 2 trips but.... I have no war tortoises. Ugh! I need to find some time to kill warped tortoises while my toadflax grows and my kingdom gets me nests. I also want to get my ranged a little higher... It's only 77 and I'd like to have 80 before I try this dude.

Therefore, I decided to play Soulwars for a few hours. I had my Forge Regent and Jade Bolts out of course and even brought out the Talon Beast for a game or two. I of course decided to film now that I am a Hypercam Noob. I got both awesome specs on film and compiled them, along with some clips of me both pwning and getting pwnt, in a nice little video with a dorky soundtrack. :-P

After a few games I had 11 zeal so I spent it on Ranged, getting me close to 50k xp. Sweet! Now I'm about 80k from 78... I'm getting there! I love training Ranged without actually doing Ranged!

After that I did a farm run and then went to the circus and did horribly on my ranged. I failed 4/5 ducks... Oh well, 8k xp is still awesome. :-P I scored like 17k in Magic and about 14k in Agility.

After that I helped Peekyface pwn Damis in the shadow dungeon. It was frightening seeing him get comboed in the high 20's... What a difference 100+ combat makes, vs his 71! He was all set for the final boss of RFD when awwwww he hadn't done DT! Keep in mind that this is Peeky's quest pure. His main pwned Nomad and got his quest cape back and he has multiple 99's.

He finally found a safespot and after "hitting like he was 10 ranged" (it took a long time because his knives and arrows kept hitting 0) he killed him! I took a picture but I forgot to paste it into Paint so I copied over it. *headdesk* That means that this blog post has... NO pictures!! o.O However it has 2 videos so ya know... Just take my word for it that I killed all skellies and shadow hounds so that Peeky could focus his energy on Damis.

I then logged out for the night earlier than 11:00. Wow! LOL!

For your extra viewing pleasure, I decided to record me doing the agility part of the circus because, well, I LOVE juggling spades! Haha! I really wanted to get it on film and I did, along with the other millions of tricks I did. I started with the hard stuff working my way down, alternating juggling and whatever else. All was going well and it was my last trick. I saw an audience member say "Do the small hop," you know, the easy peasy level 10 hop. I failed it. WTF???!?! Owchies!!! Way to take me back to my pre-93 agil days when I failed the balance beam all the time... I even made the same funny noise! LOL!

I actually really hate this video... The drabness of the tightrope place is so depressing... I like it when I juggle the spades though :-P and when it gets to the bonus clip. I mentioned it in a previous post but here it is! We couldn't have planned it better if we tried! Make sure you watch it all the way though because there is an extra-extra cheesy bonus clip at the very end of Sabredance!

School starts tomorrow and I am excited for once! I've missed the company of my friends and the lovely sunlight and rain that's been happening here. My RS time will be limited which will make it more meaningful and I'll get more done. Good night everyone!

Antsy...

For the past couple days I have been antsy- wanting to play RS but not knowing what exactly to do. Should I farm? RC? Agilify? Fish??

I decided to start with some farm runs. Grr... A ton of my toadflax died... Oh well, I still got plenty! I snapped a funny pic of me and a peep picking herbs at the same time, although the other peep was turned so it looks like he's giving me a backrub! Haha, he's even a Defence Brother!

After that and some fishing, I finally had the stuff to make 100 bunyips which I desperately needed! I then decided to go ahead and do my garg task. It was some high number in the 200's but it went better than I remember in tasks past and I even got to slay with my dad, and watch him get 96 Str and 131 cb!! Woohoo!! Finally the task was over... Not one ring, gmaul, or mystic top. Grrr! Oh well I got loads of blue charms and of course mounds of Att/Str/Def/Hp xp. :P

My task ended just in time for my friend Dalton to get 99 Attack! He wanted to borrow my house and I was more than happy to oblige and show off. :-P

He's the chick (yes female rs character) in the lava cape. I'm in the bottom right corner spamming my traditional green "@@@@" that I do at everyone's 99 party. It was so fun to show off my newest additions to the dungeon including my new altar which they happily used. He now adds another 99 to his impressive list. Cmon, Defence next! I'm pretty sure he'll get herblore next... He's high enough for overload so he's more than halfway there.

After that I was increasingly antsy and I eventually figured out that I was in a questing mood. Go figure. So, I broke the red text and finally started Nomad's Requim, which I have already dubbed as Tz Tok Nomad.

I got to watch Mr. Nomad pwn some nubs and learn how he charges for the giant hit. I accidentally examined the "ex-adventurer" instead of his backpack and had a good laugh out of this:

Anyways I didn't want to get real in depth since it was well past 1am. I was in world 9 at that point and was very surprised to see a game of Soulwars up and running! World 9 is an unofficial tie world and they actually do a pretty good job of keeping it a tie. Basically people camp at jellies and just kill each other at the obelisk but leave the avatars alone. I was only 30k or so from a hitpoints level so I brought out a Forge Regent and its scrolls and "played for hp."

This pic was obviously at the end of a game... The obelisk is empty! If there's one thing I love more than pickpocketing a large wad of runes from people in SC, it's using the Forge Regent spec to disarm people of their shield and weapon. It's so awesome when it works! I disarmed many a shield, godsword, defender, all kinds of things! Of course I also brought a change of clothes (black dhide) and some jade bolts and had fun with the cool boulder knockdown spec to entertain myself with when my forge regent left.

Three games and 6 zeal later, I was very excited to have this under my picture in the Adventurer's Log:

Woohoo!!! Why am I most excited? Because now Tz Tok Nomad will hit me for 90! I think 90 is a much better number than 89. It's whole and seems less than 89... LOL! Plus that's one extra hitpoint that will most likely come in handy. Tomorrow I might take a crack at Tz Tok Nomad... I hope I'm not too pansy to do it and git-r-done. If I am then I'll just train my range some more and come back. :-P

An 80 and 1970

Today started on the late side because I went shopping with my mom. I got some cute clothes! I first decided to finally go some agility! I was lonely though so instead of doing Barb I went to Brim where I was joined by Kamou and l THE MAN I (previously known as Pkin Quester, my friend Peeky's quest pure). It was comically awkward telling them my agility... I didn't fail much at first and even then I hardly failed at all! Kamou ended up getting not just 1 but 4 levels going from 40-44! Woohoo! Peeky went just long enough to decide to do Regicide. It didn't take him very long and I convinced him to do Roving Elves too. He is well in the middle of MEP1 now! He says his adventure log is ALL quests. He also said that, as a lvl 69, he has one less quest point than his friend who is in the 130's. Wowie!

While I was there, Merx PM'd me this hilarious message!

He went to Bandos with some buddies and the tanker lagged so he ended up getting hit a nice big 50. He then told me the above. Immediately after he said "I make myself laugh sometimes." Yes you do and me as well!

I got bored after 61 so I cashed in my tikkitz, got about 30k agility xp, and was off for some farm runs. I've been planting all this toadflax which nets me a HUGE profit. I mean, I spent 200k on 112 seeds and already made more than that back in one run, so 5 seeds. Woohoo! Of course I'm not selling any right now because I need them for Sara Brews. I also did a kingdom check and got 10 seednests, 11 ringnests, and a zammy egg to add to my collection. I got a yew seed! :D

So... I decided to plant that yew, plus the other one I got from that evil tree the other day. As I went back for my 2nd farm run I thought my yew would be done but it wasn't so I decided to kill some time and chop ivy. Well, look what happened!

Woot!! I got 82 wcing!!! I can now chop the cursed mage tree! I've gotta give that a go tomorrow. I wonder what it's like...

Sometime during the evening, I had my third blog runin! :D I had just teleported to Shilo, went afk to buy a dress, came back and saw this:

Yay!! I chatted with him for a bit and he was nice. :D He was just fishing in Shilo, which I've done many a time.

I then decided to suck it up and get 80 Firemaking. I hate training the blasted skill, but I can't rely on just evil trees! I discovered that it would cost me only about 200k and it was *only* 400-something yew logs to get that 90k xp so I bought them and made my way to the quiet town of Piscatoris to look like a dork with my two lines of fires. :-P

I decided to take a picture of my inventory, as I use a certain method to make this go better. I in fact use not one but FOUR tinderboxes, and they are set up in this OCD fashion:

Having a pattern when you light logs makes it *blaze* on by, hahaha! After my brief grumbly encounter with this skill, I got it!!!

Yay!! I am confident that 99.999% of my firemaking xp until I hit 92 will be from burning fiyr shades and vyres. Another skill hits 80 and I was left staring in awe at my beautiful total level:

Holy crap!!!! 1970!!! Didn't I JUST get 1960?? It's quickly approaching my birthyear! :D I think I'll have a huge party when that happens! Oh and I watched my dad get 87 Farming and therefore 1998 total level! Go dad!!

Sometime around there I did an evil tree with Twi in Fally. He took mining and Peeky was there because he needed a sapphire. It ended up being in Mining Guild and was s7 so Peeky got like 55 con or something instead. The star was packed and went fast but the people were chatty so it was fun.

After that I did some more farming and then spent loads of time fishing sharks for the bunyips I desperately need. As I was in the GE selling stuff to try to get the money (without tapping into my cash) for 11,000 shards my friend Fuge in Canting announced there was an evil yew in her world with NOBODY on it. I of course took this opportunity and hopped as fast as I could. Aqua decided to go as well and Fuge joined in after her farm run. It was just us and one random other guy, LOL!

Aren't we cute! In the fishing cape is Fuge5111 and Aquarianpixi is in the red. The guy, named kingmerch5 or something was hidden on the other side or hadn't shown up yet. He saw me cutting and left to "help me out." :-3

We make a great bunch of cuties!! :3

I logged off for the night with 22 minutes of Lep Magic waiting for me upon my next login. Sweet!

Another Skill Hits 80!!

What a day! It started after my doctor's appointment which ended up with me getting 7 stitches in my left arm! It has nothing to do with my swollen right hand, I merely got an annoying bump removed and they had to cut it out.

I logged in and really didn't know what to do so after I ate something I surprised Sabre Fuego at Turoth. :-) I then left to go kill some warped tortoises (which never happened... LOL!) and somehow xCJRx found me by my spirit tree and asked if I would help him kill ice giants, which were his slayer task, since I'm the one who knew that they resided in the Blurite/Wyvern cave. I said sure and was surprised that my level is high enough that nothing attacks me! I grabbed a pick and mined some Blurite to make some Jade bolts later...

We set it up so his auto was off therefore I could quickly kill any ice warriors that got him. Since nothing was aggressive on me, and I didn't realize that until I got there, I had 6 sharks that I gave to him because I wasn't getting hurt. I told him I'd stay until they were non aggressive and then leave. Well, after I killed one, it dropped a clue scroll! Now that my combat is 119 and because of my Quest Cape I can go anywhere, I like treasure trails a whole lot more now. So, with an easier clue in hand and a hope for ranger boots, I set off on this safer adventure and of course filmed it.

Merch Gwyar makes an appearance in it so you'd better watch! :D I got a Sara pg 4 which I was expecting to be like... 300k. Aww, only 30k, but still I was happy to have a high value clue!

I then went to Stealing Creation with Kitty, Arwyn, Jojo, a friend of Arwyn's named Nate, and my cousin Raven. Today I was playing for SC knives to get 80 Fletching. Haha, in one game, there were literally 14 fogs all clustered together! That was a weird map... Anyways I got enough points for some tools and even got 4 of us doing awesome squaredance moves, which I'll show later. Of course I had to share all the details of my "surgery" which led to this:

After that I ended up at the GE fletching Yew Longs. Man, fletching goes fast! No wonder everyone has a fletching cape... While I was there I met another fellow untrimmed Defence caper by the name of Pure Ownageh and we had fun chatting along with other people nearby.

Merxese even showed up because he REALLY wanted to duel me but I was still chained to my bows. After a surprisingly short amount of time, I finally got this, bringing my total to 1968:

Yay!! I'll never fletch again (until further notice)!!!!! Finally I can make something stackable with c5 clay that is also practical! Until now the only stackable thing I could make were summoning scrolls... LOL! Too bad I can't wield said arrows or even the fancy bow yet... I only have 77 ranged. Oh well, nothing some black dragons can't fix!

The night ended with me dueling with Merxese and various other people. It was fun! I got called a Def Noob and dueled with someone in void who ranged me but I won both times. :-P Merx killed me once and I killed him twice, I think... Who cares, I forgot how fun the duel arena is! Plus, let's not forget that the motivating factor in getting my dad hooked on RS was so I could kill him in the duel arena! LOL! I don't think I have to this day...

Tomorrow, maybe a few farm runs, some slayer, I really dunno. I might even do some agility! I feel guilty for not running but trust me I'll run when I'm ready. I have some new motivation in the form of a new friend ;-D

Randomness :-D

Yesterday was quite the adventure! I spent a huge amount of time playing Trouble Brewing with Kitty, Jojo, and Arwyn. It was Arwyn's first time too! She certainly picked up on it much faster than I did! Well, it could be because she had 3 teachers to help her, whereas I was on my own! :-P The highlight was when I burned the other team's water pump and got called a git! That made me laugh out lout in real life. I love being a pyro because it's fun, and solely for this message:

After a bunch of fun-filled games, I am pleased to announce that I HAVE ALL 7 NAVAL SETS!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FULL NAVAL COSTUME SET IN MY HOUSE FOR THE WIN!!!!!! I'm not done with this game though and would LOVE to play pretty much any time there are actually people playing :-P

Sometime in the wee hours of morning I was at the GE working on fletching! Eww!! There were three other people with Defence capes trying to synch up so I joined them. :-P We never got totally synched but it was fun! Here's a little snippet:

From L-R at the start we have SageOfDef in the Verac Helm, mizSARAHxoxo in the ele and Robin, o_O Roo O-o in the Karils, and me on the end. It was fun! If y'all ever find this, you're famous! The song I used behind it is "Fantasy" from, you guessed it, RCT.

Amidst all that, I did level in a skill I thought I'd never level again! No, not Firemaking... Fletching!

One more level till I can make something stackable in SC that is loads more useful than summoning scrolls! I bought bowstrings and yew logs and used a SC knife to make longs. I tried buying unstrung magic shorts then drinking a fletching potion and stringing them and that worked to a point... Till the GE ran out. Aww too bad because I made a profit doing it!

The night ended with me filling my 50 magix boxes with imps. Did you know you can use an imp to bank other imps? It's awesome! So, I really caught more like 75+! It was sometimes difficult to find concentrated imps and had the most luck around Party Monks (north of Yan). Of course I was tickled pink to find this:

I went to bed and woke up the next afternoon for another day on Runescape. A youtube post surprised me in a good way and made my day right off! Apparently Bitt3rsw33t3, who is on my list for people I want to meet this year, googled her name out of boredom and found that post! She was very excited about it and posted a hello! :-) I will never doubt the powers of Google again! Not like I ever did but I'm sure things like that have happened more often than we know. I mean, Icey Dan1 said that the reason he started blogging was he googled his name and found something that Kitt Fox wrote about him, thus inspiring him to blog! In fact, totally unrelated to Runescape, I found one of my favorite blogs by googling "diamond." LOL! So, Bitt3rsw33t3, welcome to my humble corner of the net! :-D

I didn't play a whole lot today, mainly because I spent a good part of the afternoon on a new video, and boy do I have a story to share! Storytime!!!!

It all started when, on a whim, I decided to train my ranged on Black Dragons and take advantage of my imps in boxes. I got to the evil chicken lair and my normal safespot (oddly enough, in the very back) was taken so I shared the more obvious safespot with someone. It was awkward and I got hit a 21 (ouch!) and decided I didn't in fact want to kill black dragons just then. As the dragon died I noticed a familiar tan drop on the ground. Haha, I got a clue scroll! Feeling antsy, I decided to do it. I then took advantage of how well my compy was running and decided to document the whole clue on film. 8 segments and 20 minutes of footage later, I had it down to about 8 minutes.

What a clue! I had several wildy clues both in the form of zammy mage and maps. The first clue was at the demonic ruins and I got rev'd at the end but escaped unharmed. Then I had to act the fool at the lighthouse for a double agent which I easily took down. Then, I had a Yanille map followed by a deep wildy volcano map. A rev hit me for a 24 and a 26 and I had auto on so I ran up to him so he could hit a 16 on me. I don't even know what kind of rev it was. I was worried about losing my clue! I got away from that one and ended up, poisoned and beat, in the face of a rev ork. I scrambled to get away and made it to the mage arena webs with 3 hp! It was about 50/50 whether I'd die or not so I tried as fast as possible to slash the webs and tele. Then the poison hit me for 3 and I died. Nooo!!

All was not lost! Even though I was in full panic, hands shaking, I gloried to Edgy and made my way to my lovely grave, where the casket with my clue in it was intact! Yay!! I sent some horribly typoed messages to the clan chat about how I'd died but made it and they finally got an idea of what was going on. LOL! All I lost was my ardy cloak which I knew I'd lose anyway. As I picked up my stuff the cobweb "locked me out" which was pretty funny. As soon as I demolished my grave I noticed that I had 57 minutes left. Someone had blessed it!! I quickly scrolled up to find out who it was and as soon as I was safely in the Mage Arena I PM'd them thanking them sooo much for blessing my grave! HUGE thanks to "Well Ok Sure!!!!" I don't know if I needed it but I'm just glad people are still so nice and willing to do this act of service for others.

I was then off to another coordinate clue, this time safely next to Mushroom, the sleeping troll near the Trollheim herb patch. I got a Sara Wiz and totally forgot about antipoison but I had 15 sharks on me that I had just fished so I was just fine. I teled to Edgeville to sip some anti and to read my clue. A riddle, leading to Lumbridge. Easy! I was expecting a lock with a note but nope got the clue! Another riddle, this time I had to see Jimmy Dazzler. I made my way to Ard where I lagged horribly and even glitched up! Now y'all can feel my pain, haha! After I reset the frame by opening the map it was time to search the drawers where I was presented with my reward. It wasn't much but it was worth plenty in my book! I got a lot of stuff! Here, my fellow blogfriends, is the final, edited video of this entire story, condensed to 8 minutes!

After that, I was approached by someone. He seemed excited to see me so I figured it was someone who reads my blog. He asked me where the star was. Oo, did someone say star?? I led him to party monks before he told me his friends found it. Woot, I got a bonus s5 star out of the deal! Plus, he does in fact read my blog. That makes the 2nd blog run-in I've had. Yay!!

After that I decided to do my 120 living rocks task. It was very boring because it seemed like no chat I went to had talking people in it. Must be that hour or day or whatevs. I wanted to take a break but wanted to finish my task, dangit! A few lonely hours and 4 'yips later, I was done. I decided to take a pic of all I got from 121 Living Rocks. Yes, I always kill an extra for luck on Slayer tasks! ;-)

Woot! Over 350k worth of stuff! Plus loads of green charms! I need those, because I have 4 bunyips left. I REALLY need to go summoning...

I had enough coal to make bars out of the addy and mith and made bolts with the addy and knives with the mith. I even had a SC tool leftover from fletching so I got double xp! I need all the addy bolts I can get for my epic fight with Mr. Nomad! The rubies helped as well!

I ended early as I was getting bored of RS at the moment. I need to take a break and do something else! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow (later today, really) which will get me into the air and then I'll be ready for action! I'll probably get 80 Fletching tomorrow, and maybe 80 Firemaking too although ewwwww! Good night! :-)

One Million

Today started off in typical late afternoon fashion. Gah. I really need to stop waking up at 1pm! School starts in a week so that'll remedy that in a hurry!

I spent the next several hours Rhoonkreftin away... I didn't quite get the 8,000 death runes I was hoping to make but I sure as heck bought my friend's ~130 leftover Sara Brews from the new quest with 750 deaths! OMG, and I went to my kingdom today and got 20 ringnests and 20 seednests. Wanna know what was in the seednests? TWO spirit tree seeds (crap!! no clue what to do), a magic tree seed (woop!!), a Papayaya seed (pawyaya time!!), a palm seed, 2 maples, etc. I made quite a bundle off the lower lvl seeds and kept the mage and papayaya seeds. I now have 6 spirit tree seeds in my bank. I don't have the heart to dig up my adorable Tree-With-A-Moustache in Port Sarim so they will remain in my bank until I can plant all 3 locations or I can somehow cash them in for something. It sucks that they aren't tradable. Sucks hardcore. :-(

After that, me and my friends decided to have a bit of fun. I've been hanging out with a nice group of people lately and we play SC together. It started when Kitty wanted to have an herb seed race so a couple people took a different monster and killed for an hour and whoever had the most won. A few days ago, Kitty suggested that we have a "gem race" and see who could get the most rubies in one hour. It was later changed to the value of the gems because rubies were scarce. Sounded like a great idea to me!

So we were off! Kitty took goraks, Jojododo9 took the Shilo gem mine, while me, Andy Belmont, and Arwyn Fireye took the wall safes in Rogues Den:

It was quite simple: get the highest value in gems in one hour! It was loads of fun and an hour really flew by! I mean, really, it felt like 5 minutes!

Aha! Open door! Hello masses of emeralds and sapphires!

Before we knew it the contest was closed and we compared results. The winner was Jojo, who totally SMOKED the rest of us with her 7+ diamonds! We all gave her random items of up to 60k in value as the prize for winning. :-) Then all I could see was them cutting their gems. It was funny because 3 of us all got 10 rubies. All of us were REALLY close in value, at around 200k.

I happened to line us all up for a picture. :-) From l-r we have Arwyn, Andy, me, Kitty, and Jojo. What a cute bunch we are! And yes, if you're wondering, those ARE soulwars capes that Arwyn and Andy have on! Way to beat the quest and offer LOADS of helpful advice!! OMG just looking at pictures of the boss fight make me want to cry.

Anyways...

After that I decided to kill the remaining 104 blue dragons off my task. It went smoothly except it seemed like I was getting hit by EVERYTHING!! Fiends, barbarians, hellhounds, greaters... all hitting me for 9 it seemed. Ugh. Being a dragon task, I had to bank every 15 minutes or so to take bones and hides back to the bank. I had my terrorbird to aid me so it went all right. I had one war tortoise pouch so I went summoned him with about 20 to go. Finally the task was over and I now have living rocks. Yay!!

I was very happy about the blue dragon task. Mainly, because I had enough bones for THIS!!!!

Woohoo!!! Plus, I had almost enough bones left to push me to that magical ONE MILLION XP mark! My war tortoise lasted just long enough for all my d bones but I knew I'd be about 1 d bone short of hitting that lovely million so I went to the "backyard" and killed some ogres, getting about 12 big bones. I went to my house, used them on my fancy altar, and got this:

At this point pretty much everyone had gone to bed so I decided it would be a great time to do my penguins. They were all pretty easy to find, and as I was 14k from 73 RC, I used my penguins on that. I coulda crafted the 1.8k deaths but any bonus xp to get me closer to 77 is all right with me! I quickly realized that I would be pretty close to hitting 1m xp in this skill too! Penguins found, points cashed in, fireworks a-sizzlin!!

Yay!!!! The big 7-3!! This makes hunter my lowest skill once again, since I spent an hour thieving. I looked at my total xp and was very happy to discover this:

Woohoo!!! Two skills that have reached 1m xp today!!! This is exciting!! This means I only have 2 more to raise up there and they're fast! I've certainly been busy!

Another untrimmed cape!! I kindly took a break from the abyss to tele a guy to moonclan and found someone named Trozia who had the same cape as me! I actually saw 3 of 4 untrimmed defence capes today (a new record!) and one of them was only lvl 27 or something! This was the only one I kept documented forever on film. :-D I love the defence cape!

I must go to bed now as I am delirious from exhaustion and from reading many great blogs I've found recently. Time draws nearer to the time when I get to get owned by- ... no wait a minute. Until I own Mr. Nomad. I am so scared. So scared that it's pissing me off. I know I can do it. This is all about timing your healings right and keeping a cool head. Oh, and getting lucky with the ruby bolts! This sounds a lot like a well known face. It sounds like Jad! I must mentally prepare for this and not let it eat away at me. At least I have a dad with a high herblore lvl (and a dad who got 93 Slayer today and is close to 98 hp!!)!
