Mmmmmore Agil

Today I got up and, surprise!!, I did agility! I did, however, take some breaks to do some other things like a farm run.

While I was in Fally pickin my strawberries I got "rooted." The location of the sapling was completely obvious so I went to my spirit tree to teleport to the MA bank and to tell me if it was still a sapling or a tree. Woot! Still a sap, so I banked and got my evil-tree-killing equipment (rune axe, topaz machete, tinderbox, and 8 kindling) and headed back to north Draynor where I nurtured the sapling to evil status.

It was a willow and I pwnt it hardcore! Within a minute I had a full ring and chopped away. Had I had time I woulda grabbed my new full lumberjack. :P I finished the farm run and then turned on the Olympics while I ran Barb. Haha, how epic of a story would that be! "How did I get 99? I trained while watching the Olympics!!" I must say it's really inspired me and has totally ignited my agility flame that went out for two months (and OMG Evan Lysacek won mens figure skating!!!!!!!!). I'm already just under 400k to 96 two days after I leveled. The xp between the two is over 900k (it's over nine HUNDRED THOUSAND!!) so that means I've actually done my goal of 250k a day. Wooooot!

Ya know, I'm pretty impatient, so I may just go ahead and level Agility before my birthday and save the pretty epic cooking event for my birthday party. In that case I'll try to get 99 Agility on a weekend and level at Brim and then head off to Trouble Brewing. Basically it's been tradition for me to play Trouble Brewing after a major accomplishment. I think I did it after my quest cape. I KNOW I did it for 99 Defence and am still totally planning it for 99 Agility AND my birthday party. I'm as bad as Twi, planning it for a date and then getting it way earlier. LOL!

Anyways here are some stats as I leave for the night:

Rank: 5750
XP: 9,284,615 (remember I got 9m last night so 284k xp in a day!!)
I am between Goldx14 and Chesterpeck in hiscores.
According to Zybez Agil Calc, I need 5063 more laps for 99. :D

Good night all! Here's to a great weekend for everyone!

Until next time...

More Agility Goals Met

As I will be doing pretty much nothing but agility for the next few weeks I'm not going to blog about my amazing epic adventures every day. I'll probably write other posts about not what I'm doing and might not blog every day. I am gaining insane amounts of XP right now, like 200k+ today! I have gotten almost a million xp since I jumped back into it, which was just a few days ago. :D

Let's see what I did today...

Boom!!! I broke 9 million!!! Not pictured, but less than an hour later, I got down to 4m till and reset the objective so that the progress bar will now go off a number I can remember. :P Oh boy oh boy I'm so close now!! Nothing except a mental block can stop me now! Boy am I glad my cooking idea didn't work out!

My new plan now is to get a million xp a week and then stop at about 50k till 99 and do some slaying or something. If I can, I might try to cook my way to 98. On my birthday, I plan to throw a house party first of all and get really drunk (my RS character of course) and then epically die in my dungeon with some friends. After that, I'll get everyone to rub the glory and head on over to Brimhaven where I will level to the lovely 99 by walking the plank. Then I'll head up, get my cape, and head off to my favorite minigame ever, Trouble Brewing. LOL, I went there after 99 Defence as well! Then if I managed to get my cooking to 98 I'll play some games and hopefully randomly level to 99 Cooking. That would be epic!

Of course, this will only happen if I don't get impatient and level early! :P

OK I have some homework to finish so I leave you with some stats:

Agility level: 95
Rank: 5795
Total XP: 9,049,775
Who am I between? Kylea6 and Ultimateman

Good night all!

Until next time...

Epic Return

Well peeps, I knew it would happen this way... I'm just happy to report that it's happened exactly according to plan! :-)

Let's back up a bit. I started for 99 Agility back at lvl 72, in the middle of September. I had such enthusiasm and because I had just gotten a 99, I knew of the long but do-able road ahead.

I was able to focus my sights on the lovely new courses, epic outfit, and eventually an even sweeter reward of a cape with a guy on it. I knew it wouldn't last and that I'd run out of steam, but that it would return! Well, with the update of Kuradal, I did run out of steam, but with the startup of the Olympics that spark is back and I'm milking it for all it's worth! 4 million xp doesn't look that far away now!

Twi found Bob the Cat and I took advantage of the segue. :P

I'm in such an Olympic mood right now and the Olympics have been a great distraction in getting the agility train moving at full speed! I can't believe how quickly time goes by when I am watching *agile* athletes compete in their sports! :P In my last post I mentioned my return to the race for 99. Today proved to be an energizing start to what will be a month of Barb Extended with other skills added as necessary for flavour. :P Today, today.... Today I got this!!!

Woooooot!!!! The big 9-5!!!! Only 4 levels and a little over 4 million xp left to go!! Think about this- If I get 200k xp per day (about 4-ish hours) I'll have 99 in 3 weeks. If I get a million xp a week (more likely than 200k a day) then I'll have it in 4. My birthday is in 5 weeks and 4 days. I sense a birthday present of a cape with a guy on it, don't you?? :-D

There is a special agility clan that runs Gnome and Ape on world 46. You can find out more info on it riiight HERE. Their founder, Minminpu, who is my agility role model up there with Bitt3rsw33t3, put it best on page 2, post 3, when she talks about the "jinxes" when going for 99. It was sooo true for me! I luckily missed the first one but I totally got caught by the second! I quote:

"Fact 3: Jinxes!

Your first Jinx is coming when you get lv 85-88. You just feel too bored to continue. Many people quit or take long break after this lv.

Second Jinx - Lv 93....many people have a long break after this lv. We don't know why. But half of people who reached lv 93 just leave and don't come back. You have to expect what you are going through...........this is one big fact. Face it. Prepare for it.
(93 is most chance of Jinx but will depend on the person, it will happen any lv between 93-98 actually.) "
-Minminpu, founder of World 46 All Terrain Agility Team (w46ATAT)

I just want to say that I LOVE running with them! Most of the leaders have agility capes and have xp in the tens of millions. They are sooo supportive of everyone who comes to run! They will say hello to every new face they see, play fun and unique games, and will drop food along the course for people to pick up and eat. I usually catch them Mondays at 10AM. It's so nice to run with company! Who cares if it's not barb I get to keep my sanity! :P I don't know where exactly it says this in their forum but they don't do Barb because you have to take turns at the rope swing. Totally makes sense. :-) If any of you are reading this, thanks so much for making Agility a little more popular to train!!!

Speaking of popular, I sometimes wish I had chosen a more popular skill to train to 99 but then remember how awesome the cape is and how hard it really is to get to where I am. It takes many hours of clicking obstacles to get levels, but they sure do come fast after 80! The best days of my agility training involve great conversations in chat and today there were several!

First there's this one. Right after I got 95 Zoorhana came into the chat and I wanted to break the news to him, with this hilarious result. LOL!

Next we were talking about ages and how we act differently on RS than in RL. Hehe. :D

This one is complete awesomeness courtesy of Dr Leviathan. He will sit in the chat for hours without saying a word and then, at the exact right time, say something awesome. His timing is absolutely perfect. Keep in mind that about 5 minutes have gone by between the time somi asks if his dad plays RS to his witty response out of nowhere. I laughed sooo hard!

Here's a LOL from Peekyface. He did the new summon D&D that came out today and wanted to take a cannon somewhere... He went to dags and then said the above. LOL! I still haven't done the new D&D as I am busy nolifing but I'll try it out soon. It's not going anywhere!

Me and Twi like to make faces at each other to cheer each other up. My favorite face is ";-x" and of course we have our ":[]" face. As he already has 99 agility his job is to push me to keep running!!! DW, Twi, I'm running and I ain't stopping for a while yet!

I want to thank all of my friends both in PM and in Canting who have entertained me today as I spent the entire day running with a break to let ODST Isaac fix his barrows in my house and to go to my friend Dalton's 99 Defence. I'm soooo full of wub today!!! I'm so high on agility right now!! That's a good thing because I'll be here a while! Today for a while I ran with a peep named Pure Munstah who was doing the regular course:

The funniest thing he said to me was when we were crossing the slippery log and he fell off. I told him that I failed the blasted log right up until level 93 (I failed it more than the balance beam!). His reply? "Now the agility course fails you!!" LOL!!

Not alllll my time has been spent running Barb, just most. :P Yesterday xCJRx came into Canting to tell us some bad personal RL news and wanted to kill something so we headed off to Soulwars. I told them of world 9, an unofficial tie world, and we were off and in the game. I didn't get many pics but I did snap this one of a clever name (Pet My Pwny). This person was even a mod! How cool! See? Mods don't need to be lvl 130+!

I brought 2 forge regents like always and played 4 games total, getting 6 zeal (2 losses and 2 ties) and spent them on Ranged. I used 100 scrolls very fast and did my share of disarming and killing people, and in turn had my fair share of epic deaths. I love soulwars! Among those who went were CJ, Merchy, Arcty, and Gwalagwic, but I'm pretty sure there were a few more who I don't remember.

I did a bit of slayer as well and am 13k from 83. I bought what I thought was 25k xp for 400 points and, fail, it was 10k. Whoops! Oh well mistakes happen and it's really not a big deal. I'm close to task #200 anyway so I'll make that 400 back quick, especially if I continue to get awesome tasks like the 250-ish dusties I have now. :D I did spend some time at Hellies with JJ IS ONLINE and upon looking at his adventure log....

Wow... 2 hexes and 2 fs!! For the win!!

I leave you with this small post. I asked Aximili E I where his name came from on his radio show and he answered, and the E and I stand for things and I knew I'd never remember unless I had it written down so here it is!

Good night everyone!! Here's to more running! I am officially rank 5,852 and have 8,871,812 XP. So close to 9 million!! After looking at the skill calc, I have 5620 laps on Barb to go! Oh man this is looking closer than ever! I have found the light, the spark, the second wind! Huah!!!

Until next time...

Pie's Runelympics

Hello and welcome to the Runescape Runelympics 2010!! Today's event is Agility and the first competitor for the gold is Full Of Pie of Yanille.

She was born in Tutorial Island and after a brief move to Rimmington spent most of her young life in Pollnivneach before moving to Yanille where she started training agility. Today she will be doing the Barbarian Extended course which has a judge's difficulty level of 90.

Here she comes, entering the course, to the cheers of her many blog readers!

She squeezes through the entry pipe and is ready to go.

She is poised and ready. She had been rated 94 Agility and is ranked among the top 6,000 in the skill. This course should be a breeze for her as she has enough experience not to slip. Here we go!

She's off!!! She flies off the ropeswing! Beautiful!! Such perfect form and flies over the spikes!

There she goes across the slippery log! Will she make it??

Yes!! She makes it!! Guthix be praised!!! She makes her move towards the wall. She will have to run up the wall and then use her motion to push herself upwards.

She does it!! She's off for the upper level of the advanced course!

She sticks the landing and is heading for the handhold which will take her up to the spring device!

She's up!! She makes her move into position for the spring device and she's off!!

Beautiful form as she flies through the air to the balance beam platform! It's the moment of truth now! Can she do a perfect cartwheel on the balance beam??? Will she do it??!?!

YES!! She does it!!! YES!!!! She sticks the landing!!!!

OK it's the very last obstacle of the course! She has to slide off the roof! This is it!! This could give her the gold! She must stick the landing!

SHE DOES IT!!! Full Of Pie has stuck the landing!!!

She cheers as the judges give her a mark of 740.7!!!

Well done Full Of Pie!!!! And, after a two month retirement from the sport, welcome back!!!

This run was brought to you by Guthix Balance; Chef's Guild Kitchen: Making Summer Pies for agilifiers since forever; Herblore: agility potions since forever; and Mogres: Outfitting the best with flippers since time began.

In honor of the Winter Olympics I write my own little post and announce:

I'm back!!! Back and ready to go for 99 Agility!!! Here comes my second wind and I'm soaking it up like a sailboat! :D

Until next time...

Wyrms, Cool People, and a Good Drop

Well today started off with me doing my Junglywyyrm task. Hah, they already have a name in Piespeak!

They were awesomely colored! I very much enjoyed fighting them and after getting hit quite a few 30's got used to how to dodge, but I've become so seasoned through various quests and stuff that a 30 isn't all that high anymore.I mean, in Kuradal's clubhouse, my max is 30! I have a small video of me killing my very first junglywyyrm:

I forgot that I messed around with the frame rate so bear with me... It's about triple speed. LOL! They didn't really drop much of interest... About every other drop was a lobster or Super Defence (1). I would sip and toss at first but then started accumulating the 1-dose potions and by the end of my task had 3 4-dose potions to sell. I got lots of guam and even a ranarr plus a tarromin and harralander seed. Oh yes, and I got noted pure ess and papayayas which was exciting. :P No hexcrest though, but there will be a time when I get one, rest assured. The wyrms look like a cross between a caterpillar and a cobra. LOL! Sweet task. :-)

I met a fellow untrimmed caper with the same combat as me when I was there. :D The untrimmed Defence cape is becoming more common and I love it! Defence is a great first 99! Bigserve61 was a nice guy too, along with many other nice people including someone in full arma with elysian and the focus sight and a gal with 99 slayer and about 10 other 99's who I then had a nice chat with after my task at the MA bank with a few of her buddies. Funtimes. :-)

After that I decided to get a new task. 150 hellhounds? Woot! I then set off to at least start my farm run and headed off to Trollheim, where I promply discovered I had accidentally banked my spade. Ugh, I was "stranded" here. I could have easily teled back but I would have wasted 2 precious laws and fires. Merchy to the rescue! She gladly and kindly went up there and gave me a spade. :-) She was also in her adorable BA gear and so I got a pic.

Not long after that about half of Canting went to observe new canter, Rilkar Spine, get 99 Strength on Dalton (Capt N Abby).

I have known Rilkar Spine for a very long time as we were in Viks together. Back then he was Red X 226 so I still call him Red, and Canting has no idea who I'm talking about. :P He's the one in the WC cape and Dalton is in the boxing gloves, with people from Canting and Viks circling the ring waiting.

Gratz on the cape-trimmage and 99 Str, Red!!!

Almost immediately after that, Vandyballer died at iron dragons deep in Brim. Eek! I was off as quick as I could to try and bless his grave, but knew it would be close. I remembered a hatchet, shield, and antifire and was off and flying through the dungeon. I got there and the grave was gone. Poor Vandy thought he lost his BCP, but later found it in his bank. PHEW!!! As I was at the entrance, I came across merchy who too had tried to go and save it. I'm just glad everything was ok! You can read about his death from his perspective right ***HERE****.

After that I had dinner and upon returning, Joshua Mack was playing Temple Trekking. I was going to do agility but I decided to put it off even longer and got my lappy all set up in front of the telly so I could watch the Olympics while trying to get watermelon seeds from TT. There was nothing really too much of interest until finally I got lumberjacks and another shot at the top. I wasn't expecting much so I started killing them and they dropped something awfully red.

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

OMG! OMG! Oh my gosh I did it!!!!!!! Full lumberrrrjaaaackkkk!!!!!

Right when I got it, I forgot that zombies could still attack my follower. I was hootin and hollerin away and the poor Woman-at-Arms was being eaten. LOL! I had to pose with Joshua Mack before heading off to cut some ivy with my newfound outfit of awesomeness: Full lj, barrows gloves, defence cape, rune hatchet, satchel, and catspeak amulet (e). After a couple swings my dad logged in and I borrowed his herblore level to make 88 sara brews and get him 15k xp. Woot!

After that I put the clothing in my house and headed for the GE where I met a fellow untrimmed Defence caper named Telum Dei who was very nice and who I chatted with for a bit before heading off for my hellhound task.

His name is Latin for "Weapon of the Gods." I thought that was neat!

We even got the emote to synch up!

After being at hellies for about 5 minutes my dad showed up to slay them with me. :P Nothing like your dad walking in to the clubhouse saying "Let's kill things and bond!" I love having a dad who plays RS!

After a few minutes I could resist the urge no longer. I went to Dorgesh Kaan to trade my snail shells, perfect snail shell, and perfect tortoise shells to Barlak in exchange for money and some crafting xp. I then went to the GE and snelm-bombed the place. I got 2 pointy blood n' tar snelms, which are a unanimous favorite, and saw this amusing lad, clad in an elegant skirt:

His name was Zac Jarvis07 and he was the lucky quick recipient of the beautiful red and black pointy snelms. :P

After that I finally went to satisfy my burning urge and hit the agility course seriously for the first time in 2 months. I'm in an agility mood again!! Only 4.7m xp till 99! I can do this! Let's get this agility show on the road!!!

I have a very amusing post to follow. :P

Until next time...

Golden Total and More: Level Quad Extrordinaire!!

Wowie!! Sooooooo much has happened today!! Let's see how I can cram it into a whole post...

I started this 13 hour day with some quality hunter time in my favorite spot:

After a very short while, I had my 1st lovely level of the day, bringing my total to 1987.

I am most happy because I can now catch pirate imps with hunter potions for reals! :D

After that I headed over to Pyramid Plunder with Rafftank to knock down the 86k till that I had. I was planning on using penguins on it to get it down faster but PP ended up being quite fast today and before long I got the level I was after!!

Yay!! 1988 total and the ability to triple loot bandits! After looking at the XP, I went in for another round because I then got this....

I broke 1m xp!!! Just hunter left until I have at least 1m in all skills!! I am like 7k from that in hunter so I have no idea why I didn't just get it when I leveled. That's on my list for tomorrow. :P

Amongst the time I was in PP I....

...was alerted to a funny glitch in Peeky's chat. LOL!

...did penguins with TheArcturus1. Here we are at the WWM penguin with a mob of people all facing north and Lori Doc trapping the rock penguin there.

...found a graphic glitch with the ancient cavern whirlpool...

I even managed to find the time to call in to Aximili E I's radio show!! It was fun chatting with him even if it didn't go smoothly. :P

After I did my penguins I decided to use the points on RC instead of thieving, which ended up being a very good call. I finished up my thieving and went to Edgeville to begin the final countdown for 74 RC and therefore my golden total!! It was very exciting and many funny things happened before I even began including...

...The hilarious and painful pose I make when casting Dream. I got lots of stares and "wtf"s" from people in the bank and even got a ton of people to rest near me (but were covered with a war tortoise hence no pic of the party). All I was doing was healing my HP that I lost during those final games of PP. :P See the Zzz in the top right corner? LOL!

I also, right upon arriving, caught this gem in Canting. Don't mind the spam, I was trying to strip forgetting my inventory was full of stone scarabs...
Haha that's got to be one of the best replies I've heard all day!!

So it began... I had about 15k xp till my lovely RC level so I set to work going to the abyss. After using a calc it was apparent I only needed 2.2k deaths, which is roughly 10.5 glory teleports worth. Good thing I now have 13! Along the way to my golden total another great gem appeared in Canting, this time by our very own Merch Gwyar. :-)

It was even better live, because you got the perfect element of timing in there too, but it was too funny not to photograph!! She got a clue scroll off a Dorgesh Kaan chest (a lvl 1) and set off to do it. This awesomeness is what resulted when she got the rewards. ROFL!!!

Finally, after not too long (a lot shorter than it would have been thanks to penguins!!!), I got 74 RC and therefore my golden total.

First, my plans for the epic level and then getting the level and the resulting woots. :-)

Woot-tacular!! 2 chaos per ess now!! That may come in handy someday...

Yes, my total level is now my birthyear, thus my golden total. Woot!!!

Wow!! What was the first thing I did in celebration of getting my total the same as the year of my birth? Set off to level Strength of course! The golden total, although awesome, was not something I wanted to have sit around for long! I got geared up, sold my 2.3-ish K deaths at max for over 1m (woot 25m and then 26m cash to follow!!), bought a D Skimmy off Apeland to train Str, and prepared for my warped tortoise task. First I had to revert my saw to chimes which looked more like I was serving punch...

I sense a photoshopped pic of this in the future... :P

...and then I was off for warp torts! I had to hop a few times as there were tons of people at them on every world but I eventually found an open world and began to kill them. Loads of shells right off, yay!! I finally had to bank and upon returning someone had magically appeared. He was a really nice guy and we made great conversation while sharing the spot so I took a pic.

Thank you to Lordshadow74 for being a nice guy!

He eventually left to find a more open world and thus give me this world free so we said our goodbyes. I left to bank and every time I returned people had magically appeared. Everyone who appeared soon hopped so I was alone more than not but I was more than willing to share. Eventually my task was over and I now have like... 80 mithril ore that I can smelt and smiff with a hammer. Yay!! I got loads of addy as well. Plus the usuals...

While I was in there this funny and epic "wrong chat" occurred:

Poor Vandyballer... LOL!! WTG Isaac. :P

I think I did a star after that, soloing in Karamja. It was at the horseshoe mine (s2) and I got my 200 dust before it tubbied. The people there were all very nice which made it fun. :-)

I then went to Kuradal in hopes of a wyrm task. I was set to cancel all tasks until I got one or something I couldn't resist. I canceled about 3 or 4 times including 240+ firegiants, 200+ velds, and 120 living rocks. Finally, she presented me with 210 dagannoth. I can't say no to that! I wanted a dag task badly to get my strength higher than attack because I messed up their evenness and it's much easier for me to catch att up to str than str up to att. Plus, I was 12k from 84 Strength anyways so it was perfect!

I headed over with Vandyballer and after a couple world hops found a good world and before long I had it!
I now have *gasp!* 1990 total level. Holy cow!!! When did that happen??!?!? What in the world did I level to get that! Last I remember it was like... 1940. o.O It was getting late but my dag task was going super fast with my Balmung so I stayed until I finished and then set off to Kuradal again in hopes of a wyrm task. I'm less than 50k xp until 83 slayer too! That will come easy! I got 204 fire giants which I canceled and then, ta-da!!!!

Woop woop!!! This is first on my list in the morning. For now I should go to bed as this post has taken me 2 HOURS to write!

In other news I found out today that Timothy Gold is quitting RS and moving on to a whole new world of new and exciting things. I understand, and while I will miss his hilarious comments I wish him the best. Goodbye Tim! You were a ton of fun to have in Canting!

Good night everyone!!

Until next time...
